And then Krasko threatens Thirteen’s friends– you can see all sense of play leave Thirteen’s face, see the way her eyes go a little steely, and her voice a little chilly when she says: ‘Don’t threaten me.’
A hint of the oncoming storm, leashed. Let out enough that Krasko looked perturbed.
The most terrifying warnings aren’t those delivered with bluster and pomp, it’s the ones that’s done almost casually, because they don’t need the bluster. Here Thirteen really fits the definition of Tranquil Fury.
