//I just want to say I appreciate how much, repeatedly, this season has honored faith systems and religions that are not natively hurtful in any way, even if the Doctor doesn’t herself ascribe to those faith systems. Sci fi so often takes a shit on the whole concept of religion, which I have always found deeply alienating about the genre, but not in this case. In this episode: “He debased your faith … . you are builders but he wanted you to destroy; that’s no god.” Comments like that are so important. It’s not the faith that’s inherently evil, but the people who abuse and misuse it. Thank you, Doctor Who, for respecting the diversity of belief in the world and universe.

//Man with the extreme telepathic permeability of the Master’s mind, both input and output, I feel like he would need a neural balancer more than anyone, but he also might fry it with sheer force of will.
//Yaz is valorous ❤
// “No one’s unstoppable” yaaas and her running while he monologues gives me chills.
//Oof, haha. AHhh. “Revenge.” Oooof.
The Doctor has to feel like, in intervening to save the lives of humans, in meddling, she compounded the suffering of two other innocent populations, by enmeshing their fate with Tim Shaw’s.
That has to hurt more than anything so far this season.
I mean it’s entirely UNTRUE that she “made him a god” because he’s the one who chose to continue to conduct himself as a mass murderer. But still.
In the trailer, we see the character discover she is a woman, because someone calls her madam and she just asks “does it suit me?”
Monsters that growl when they kiss, a sound so deep and low that you can feel the vibrations against your lips.
