((Is this from the new album, Wide World??? How did I miss this song?! It’s truly perfect..  I have never thought about this but the way this song addresses the intersection of repressed emotions, excessive aggression, and toxic masculinity, and shedding these things in order to properly grieve, really apply to Simm Master…..))

LOL bless you.  With every character I write, I perform this test in dialogue.  If I can’t hear the actor’s voice, then I delete and rewrite the dialogue until I can hear them.  My favorite thing about Simm!Master is that he is constantly sassy and imperious; there’s something about it that’s equal parts detestably obnoxious, and endearing (at least to me), and I think it’s part of the whole “runs hot instead of cold” thing that sets him apart from most if not all of the other Masters/Missys.  

It’s funny because I had a follower, who meant no harm, God bless them, who recently read my verses and got from them that since my Master is “reformed” in most of his verses, he’s a “mild” Master (these were their exact words) and I was just like “NnnnnnnnoooOOOOOOT. Reallyyyyy……” LOL. So I’m glad you noticed this about him.  

Favorite Teletubbies character. Go.

The Master pauses.

      “I suppose you can’t go wrong with Tinky-Winky.”  

Please let it sink in that the most dangerous Time Lord ever to exist, shy perhaps of Omega himself, said the words “Tinky-Winky” out loud, without humor or irony.
