I don’t think I ever showed you guys this shirt that @honourablebravery got me for my birthday. LOL.  

I should add that I derive mild trolling amusement from wearing this out in a Republican stronghold, and getting confused and disturbed looks from old white men who have never seen Doctor Who and clearly think I’m endorsing some unknown Socialist radical LOLOL. 

I wore it to the dollar store last night and a guy, no joke, wearing a Make America Great Again hat AND shirt, looked at me most gravely and said, as though at a funeral, “Don’t forget to set back your clock,” lmfao.  Woebetide him, for having to do the Bigger Thing by this upstart ungrateful anarchist millennial.

//ALSO I HECKIN VOTED Y’ALL.Voted today. Even though a poll worker became very belligerent and tried to refuse us paper ballots, which we very politely, calmly requested, because we were uncomfortable with the electronic system. She shouted at us in an attempt to intimidate us, very agitatedly accused the news of sensationalizing the reality of voter suppression, claimed we were “insulting” her personally by making our request, and called my mom an “as_hole.” Yes, really.  In a nice, suburban neighborhood, this heated exchange took place.  And we are White Anglo-Saxon Protestants so imagine what would have happened if we had been POC, or people of the Muslim faith, or any other minority, who walked into that office.

Yes, one a parody of Brown-Eyed Girl for my birthday by my Dad’s songwriter friend, and the other…uh…kind of a creepy incident with a stalker from my church, actually :/

I have never played it but I play the flute 😀

Tom Hiddleston, John Simm, David Tennant, Jude Law, Richard Speight Jr, Kate McGrath, Gal Gadot, Jodie Whittaker. 

What’s a sound you hate and a sound you love?

Sound I hate: I have misophonia SOOO a lot of sounds bother me, chewing, crinkling paper, lawn mowers and edgers/leaf blowers, loud car mufflers, are some of them.

Sound I love: Thunder, rain, sleet, the wind in leaves, ocean or lake tides, a fan. 

Do you believe in ghosts?

I believe that there’s a spiritual residue left behind by people and animals who have inhabited particular spaces, as well as their interactions.  I believe that some spaces carry inescapable sensations based on these residues: some joyful and positive, some negative, draining, and sad. I don’t believe ghosts can hurt people but I do believe the emotions left behind can influence people negatively.  

How about aliens?

I don’t feel strongly about it except that the universe is unfathomably large so I don’t know how it would be logical to think otherwise.  

Do you drive?

Yep! 

What was the last book you read?

I’m currently reading, out of morbid curiosity, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, and my friends, it is terrible.  

What’s the worst injury you’ve had?

Probably an infection of my toe which rapidly became an infection of my leg and sepsis in the hospital because I have Type One Diabetes and it’s shitty like that. Almost lost my leg haha. Ha. And I wish I could say that was an isolated incident! 

Do you have any obsessions right now?

I’ve had the same ones for between the past seven and the past four years and that’s unusual for me, I usually absorb something quickly and dump it for the next thing. I think I’m getting old and tired and losing the emotional energy for new crazes, lmao.  Currently on the fringes of Marvel (used to be way into it but then Phase Two and Three happened), on the fringes of Supernatural (all I care about is Castiel and Gabriel tbh, that show is trash now), a lifelong Sherlockian (BBC Sherlock is problematic as fuck though, so all I’m into with that incarnation is Andrew Scott’s Moriarty), and Doctor Who is probably the one I’m most into because it’s the most bearable (thank you Whittaker and Chibnall).  

Do you try to hold grudges against people who have done you wrong?

Nope.  I firmly believe it damages you more than it does them.

How long have you been RPing for?
Since I wasssss 18 and I’m now 35 so 17 years. Holy lord. lol. I started on message boards, moved to AIM, moved to LiveJournal, moved back to AIM, moved to Skype, and added Tumblr.  I actually prefer Tumblr because I’m so graphics-oriented and you’re able to disperse so many icons into the prose. 

Who is your favorite muse to RP with that is not yours?
I’d rather not play favorites when all my mutuals are lovely talented people, but I’ll list several particularly enjoyable muse interactions :3
–Your Jack, who is to me the quintessential and ONLY Jack Harkness, with his every breathtaking flaw and attribute. 
– @forgediinfire‘s Nine and Thirteen, who have provided Koschei with probably the most elaborately developed, satisfying, heartwarming redemption arc in the custody of the Doctor that I’ve had since making this blog, complete with atoning to the people he’s hurt, marriage to the Doctor, and, with Thirteen, children.  
– @intergalacticstarlight‘s Ten, who has nailed Ten’s complex and controversial characterization, from his pedantic insensitivity to his attention deficiencies to his boisterous joy and curiosity and his hope in lost causes.  I have really missed Tenny and this is just. Nicer than I can articulate. 
– @itsjustkind ‘s Twelve, whose bashful gentleness, behind the brusqueness, provides Koschei the closure he didn’t receive with the most standoffish Doctor (toward the Master) in all of New Who.  There’s also a wonderful role reversal in that Koschei is the teacher–of forms of open physical affection, and intimacy in general.  
– @thistimefeelsnew‘s alternate Thirteen, who provides Koschei an entire established life as the husband and consort of the Lady President. 
– @auniverseaway‘s Ten, who is sweet and poetic and devout.  
– @materxnatura ‘s Sera: Koschei’s adoptive mom in his human AU’s, in which I can explore his neurodivergency and troubled past with more freedom.  He idolizes her.
