I think of the soft face most from when…Ten is telling him about how brilliant he is in his “taming the fox by sitting a little closer to him every day until he is responsible, forever, for what he has tamed” voice and and Simm always makes the best big wet eyes like he’s always the dog in the oldschool book/movie about to get shot because he’s been framed for killing the chickens or he’s had his guts mauled out of him
or he has rabies.#why do i log into this site i only ever embarass myself in increasingly creative ways
What else is being a Master fan even for? It’s a tribute of our devotion.
@zabbers a friend linked me to this post and I hope you follow me I sincerely do because I have screamed and sobbed about each of these individual moments and points with my friends until the cows come home and I even two nights ago started a thread discussing The Little Prince and DoctorXMaster in precisely the taming the fox paradigm I’m DEAD HELLO AND LET’S BE FRIENDS.
And no I really don’t think the Soft Face per se occurred in Series Ten which is one of my many gripes with it but come to me I can talk to you about A) theories for how it might have been only for Ten and B) theories for how if it wasn’t why we never see it and C) how soul crushing it is for your future self to stab you because the person you both love more than life is her choice aaaaaaaa.
