New Threads Temporarily Closed. 

All new threads are closed until I can complete existing threads.  This is particularly true if I have more than five threads with the same partner, which is pretty much unilaterally the case.  I would like to be able to branch out and start new things with other mutuals and unfortunately I lack the mental and physical fortitude to do this when I am already in excess of 20 drafts with just a handful of people.  I THOROUGHLY ENJOY what we’re writing.  I just need to downsize by either finishing or dropping some threads.  

I know this will upset some people, but I also wanna really give my new Thirteenth Doctor blog a proper go.  And I haven’t touched her for days because if how clogged up the Master is.  

Finally a gentle reminder, I am chronically ill.  I try not to talk about it much and I am working really hard at some things that are providing significant improvements to SOME parts of my health.  But other things do not get cured, no matter my lifestyle or efforts, and those things are really draining.  

 @immortaljackal is Layla married to Brax in ALL her verses now, including the one with @canspotatimeagent? If she is I need to change my last reply to you to take out mention of the Doctor.  My last reply was really generalized.

I’m sorry guys, I have too much going on afk and I can’t keep everything straight because my antidepressant makes my memory really bad. That’s still no excuse and I apologize. More fodder for archiving this blog, because I just can’t keep up with everyone, but I’ll resist the urge for now.

Know what’s sad? I bought the magazine because 1) 13 was on the cover and 2) because there was a section for the Master/Missy. Then I got home and read it ended up just tearing out the pictures I liked and tossing the rest in the recycling. Clearly Newsweek just released this to capitalize on 13’s upcoming season and probably just got a bunch of their writers to cobble together what they could find out online doing a quick Google search. Really insulted me.

I can totally believe that, and it’s pretty repulsive, yeah 😦 ❤ 

Random mainverse headcanons:

–The Master and the Doctor have merged their TARDISes (which is WHY she’s “done up” with a new coat of paint, it’s wild because @mostincrediblechange and I just wrote this happening on Skype and then this week…LOL…the TARDIS rematerializes with a new coat of paint) and also why the interior is “redecorated.”

–The Master is absent from the actual off-TARDIS “adventuring” because he has sustained some unstable Time Vortex energy from Missy’s stabbing, that should have caused him to regenerate.  His Regeneration energy is still unstable and if he leaves the TARDIS, where the Doctor has rigged him a wing to the Zero Room,  he’ll become very ill, or possibly even die.  So it’s kind of like a Shalka scenario, for the next several months.  

–The Master has agreed to stay behind in the TARDIS when the Doctor goes adventuring, and he makes the Doctor sack lunches sometimes, or puts crisps in her bum bag.   He has also learned how to make fried egg sandwiches.

– Of course he’s also composing whole piano sonatas (Missy’s grand piano is still downstairs), constructing laser everything’s, adding sonic components to his existing laser screwdriver, constructing advanced surveillance and monitoring technologies for the TARDIS exterior, hacking the computer systems of distant alien planets,  and, in this verse, taking care of his daughter with the Doctor, Zinnia.  

–He also frequently steals custards from the auto dispenser.  Which is why he’s developed love handles over the past year.  

–The Master is aroused by the Doctor doing Aikido on her enemies. Or just being aggressive and angry in general. Which is not unique to this Doctor, but has only …augmented lol.

–The Master likes Graham (and calls him “Graham Cracker”) because his devotion to Grace reminds the Master of how he feels about the Doctor.

–The Master likes Ryan because they share a tendency to self-isolate and defend themselves as “needing no one” when they’re in pain, and often over some form of disability (my Master is a spoonie). 

–The Master likes Yaz because she doesn’t take shit from anyone yet she transparently trusts and supports the Doctor, so he gives Yaz all the directives and “please do A b and C’s” for when he can’t come along on an adventure and keep an eye on his best friend and wife.

ooc: Every instinct is telling me to be wholly true to the Master and their development would for me to make my Missy canon-divergent, and that’s sad.

Missy was doing great until Series Ten and then. AGH. Some of it? Some of it was so good, like I LOVE that she’s capable of remorse but agh agh. Just the end of the season was heckin BAD.
